Is it a fish? Yep. Then yes it's seafood. And yes it's meat as well.

I've never understood why frog legs come on a seafood platter. I've also never understood why deer sausage that is 60 percent pork is called deer sausage.

If something does not come from the sea then it is not seafood. However, it can be simply fish.
