Ate at Zaxbys last week because I heard RCs ripped them Off. It was nice to see more if a menu but everything about canes was better. Wasn't even close. Their sauce was super salty. The cost for what would be their box combo was 7 dollars and didn't include a drink.

I hear you about not feeling well. First time in at least a year and ugh! Guess the marinating in MSG does't help. The corporate office said they are looking at another option but apparently not yet. I can't get enough water.....

Cane's chicken is shite, so if anyone is even making a comparison, I'll assume that Zaxby's is also shite chicken. Cane's has sauce and toast.

within the last two weeks, I have had cane's, zaxby's, and abner's....

all have basically the same business model and cost pretty close to the same amount...

canes tastes the best, but the chicken fingers are the smallest of the three...

abner's gives you the most food, but the sauce is not unique...

So does Zaxby's and it's nearly identical.

Cane's ripped off Zaxby's.

They are both mediocre and way too salty.

Maybe originally. It's not better across the board now though.

Not in my experience. Zaxby's are always small. They do have really good salads though.

Abners is my favorite. Canes and Zax sauces are too tangy. Abners is a little less tangy. They also tend to have a larger chicken to fried part ratio than the other two.

But I would rank

Abners
Zax
Canes.

I get Zax around here and get the wings and things large. Comes in at around $9 but while I'm at work it gets me 2 meals out of it.

I mean I'm sure it depends on a million things and depends on when you go and what location. It's stupid to say one has smaller fingers across the board.

It's a matter of opinion bro. I like Cane's a lot better than Zaxby's. It's absolutely not absurd.

Yeah telling the truth from my experience is stupid... It's really not even close in the 4-5 Zaxby's I've eaten, the fingers are thin and small. That's why I get wings and things or a salad. The taste is fine, just smaller.

My my, these Canes folks appear to be a little nervous right now. The new Zaxby's that is under construction in Gonzales is the first of several that are being built by two recent LSU graduates. They're bringing a better product and a broader menu to the Baton Rouge area. When they open, give them a shot - you won't be disappointed.

I'm just glad I don't have money invested in the lafayette location.

I guess. supply and demand obviously

Modern broiler chickens reach market weight in half the time it took chickens in the 1950s, while consuming one-third the amount of feed.

While increasing productivity, selective breeding severely jeopardizes the welfare of broiler chickens. At six weeks of age, most broiler chickens have such difficulty supporting their abnormal body weights that they spend almost 90 percent of their time lying down, usually in their own waste.

Never had Cane's... Zaxby's is pretty legit.

That said, I don't/haven't eaten Cane's out of principle... I'd probably love it.
