Anyone been here? Went with some friends on Monday evening and was not impressed. Food was very mediocre and overpriced. Maybe it was just an off night.

Been once... I would disagree with the food being mediocre, but agree that it was on the pricey side for what we got. I thought it was all really good but smaller portions (most items) and not cheap.

Went once with a big group, had great service and food was good. It is not a blue plate special type of joint and I thought the prices were fair. If you want innovative dishes and a change of pace its well worth it. Hope it is supported and it continues to be a option here in BR.

This was my experience as well. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Now that Zolia Bistro place...talk about overpriced, underwhelming, and small portions. I'll never go back there.

I've only been twice - once for lunch and once for dinner - both times received good service and food.

Went last weekend. Loved the atmosphere. Beer was cold and good. Food was decent. Didn't blow me away but good and different. Slightly pricey but didn't think it was too bad. I'll for sure go back and eat again. Me and gf split tacos, scallops, shrimp, and truffle spaghetti. Scallops a little salty but were my gf's favorite. I thought shrimp and spaghetti were really good.

Been several times. The food has always been good, but I have noticed some consistency issues with particular dishes. The Duck Empanada sometimes have too many mushrooms for example.

Despite this, usually at least one dish hit the mark and surprises me everytime.

Price is what it is, it priced along the lines of everything else downtown.

I wasnt a big fan of the spaghetti and i love spaghetti. Serving size was really small along with it just tasting like regular spag from an italian restaurant.

Giving them props for cold beer?

I'll give them props for having NOLA Irish Channel Stout on tap when I went.

We got charbroiled oysters, scallops, some sort of shrimp, chicken wings, fries, spaghetti, and some other things I can't recall. Service was very good though.

We went once and got a bunch of small plates. Some of the apps were really good (deviled eggs with fried oysters on top) and some were meh (a mushroom stuffed with chicken, cheese and chorizo that was real greasy). We both agreed that Blend had better small plates for basically the same price.

I thought this blew. It may have been because I have a high standard for deviled eggs (in that this was the first time I have disliked one).

I like it for the small plates. Been a dozen times and never had really an issue. Needs to expand out on the wine list. Too many wine lists are driven by the distributor versus the restaurant.

If you want Spaghetti and meat balls, don't go to a specialty restaurant and order as a small plate.
This is something they put on the menu because they have to, for kids and picky eaters etc...
Be a little adventurous man!
And I have been 3-4 times. I like what they are trying to do, and I will be back to support. They are just not there yet. Both the menu and execution need a little work IMO but I like that they are showing their culinary balls in BR.
