Ghost is the best IIPA that can be purchased locally. It's in the same class as Heady Topper, Julius, and Pliny. It's a world class IIPA.

Today was the first day I was successful in the hunt and able to purchase Ghost from a store. I've had it at places when they've had it on tap, and I've had friends let me try theirs in the past.

Two people bought 4-packs for me today at Calandros. Will not ask them to do that again based on what I was told it's like. I got some on my own elsewhere. There are other ways than dealing with that fiasco.

I've done a lot of trades ounce for ounce for heady and Pliny with ghost. You're sadly mistaken if you don't think it's on their level.

A guy in Brooklyn has 8 bottles of ghost and 1 crowler of Envie in his fridge right now and tomorrow I'll have 8 16oz cans of fresh NYC juice in my fridge.

Ghost is as hot on the trade market as any beer.

Yeah, this is what I am thinking. I'm not trying to say that there aren't a lot of great beers on the market, but GitM is just simply in a league of its own, locally and even regionally speaking.

You should be proud of your own beer!

Believe me, I'm a big Snake Handler fan. I think it's one of the best beers in the southeast, but I'm also a realist, and GITM is a step above.

Drank the piss out of GITM yesterday in both mid city and uptown bulldog locations. We were drinking pitchers of it, lol.

GITM is definitely a great beer but there are many others too. Two Hearted Ale, Green Flash DIPA, Crowd Control, just to name a few.

When you can drink ghost at Fat Harry's, you know the hype has worn off.

Snake Handler is a great beer, but I agree that Ghost is a notch above it.
