It's true. I was hoping there was a puzzle or something like Jax beer used to have on the back of the caps

Soft drinks used to advertise that you could win money if your cap indicated you were a winner. Like playing the lottery.

I have no idea how old you are, but Jax or possibly Falstaff, one of those we bought some cases to bring to Florida and the caps had puzzles like the old COncentration game show.

In those days I didn't buy bottles, I drank from cans. My dad did the same thing. He liked Falstaff. He would punch two holes in the can and sprinkle salt on the hole he would drink from.

BTW... for those of you who don't have Stubb's.
It says "I guarantee you one thing. You ain't gonna cook no better than I can." ... Stubb."

Well considering the fact that he's been dead quite awhile I'd venture to say I'm gonna cook better than him.

I don't like his BBQ sauce but I do like his mopping sauce.

THey must have different quotes on each bottle, mine says In order to be a good bbq cook, you've got to have it in your heart.

I make my own sauce, and when I sell it people will bow down. The stuff is edible as a stand alone dish.

Don't feel bad. I've never looked inside the cap of a bottle of Clorox. Who the hell knows what might be up in there.

I unscrewed the cap when I bought a bottle about a year ago, and was too busy pouring the sauce down the drain to read the cap. WFT is it with BBQ sauces that have liquid smoke in them?
