The creators of some of the most distinctive craft beers in the world are identical twins from Denmark who can’t stand each other.

Didn't read the entire story, but I never knew that. Cool story.
I'll need to finish it later.

I don't drink much beer anymore, but I figured you beerheads in here would like it.

What made you cut back? I have drastically reduced my beer consumption over the past couple of months.

Both are overpriced and make some really weird brews. Overall, I prefer Evil Twin...

Interesting story. I knew Westbrook brews Evil Twin beers but not much more than that.

I stay away from Evil Twin and Mikkeller beers until I've read reviews. Both are hit or miss and always pricey.

Didn't get it. I haven't really developed that project any further - seems like there are many, many ways to cook great crawfish.

I thought this was funny

quote:

Laughing, Jeppe told me about Bozo, a high-alcohol stout that he designed expressly to “make fun of” the extreme flavor experiments in which craft brewers like Mikkeller often engage. “We added cocoa, chocolate, coconut, cinnamon, oak chips, chili, coffee, vanilla, hazelnut, chestnut, marshmallows,” Jeppe said. “It’s not a beer I’d drink, but it came out excellent, and it gets crazy high ratings.”

It's interesting that they're identical twins. They have the exact same business model: Brew a bunch of bad, overpriced beer and sprinkle in a few good ones here and there. The fact that they don't get along makes me not want to buy their product even more.

This. They've had some real stinkers. That being said, I think I've had better brews from Evil Twin, so I guess I'm #TeamJeppe
