Actually, I'm quite fond of it raw. However, it wilts so damn quickly. It doesn't seem to matter which brand, organic/non, or from which store/farmer's market I get it from either. I've tried those little balls with the packets in them that are supposed to keep produce fresh longer. No dice, still wilts in the produce bin. Seems worse for spinach than other veggies too.
Any advice or tricks that ya'll use for this. Place in the fridge? Temperature of the fridge? Anything?

Or keep in a large bowl of cold water.

If I don't eat it in time I just sauté it. Problem solved.

I have been folding a paper towel and putting in the bag. Lay he bag towel side down in the fridge. Has really improved the life.

Wilting. That's what spinach does. Make a spinach salad, sprinkle with balsamic vinegar and EVOO and microwave for 30 seconds.
If it's wilting in the bag and turning to mush, it's bad.
Throw it away.
Freshest spinach in town is at Trader Joe's. I bought two bags on sale six days ago and they're still firm and green.

I buy the large plastic container of spinach every Monday . It stays fresh for me every time. I usually finish by the end of the week. If not, I usually sauté it with my eggs. Here's an idea. Dont buy spinach and not eat it

When it wilts throw it in a protein shake or smoothie.

That is what I do. If I don't use all of it though, I will throw it in the freezer for smoothies.

Mine lasts a week in the fridge just fine. I eat it literally at every meal.

This works for any refrigerated vegetable. I put my celery and carrots into a sealable container with paper towels on top and on bottom. Really extends the shelf life.
