Had a friend that just got back from Budapest and brought me 3 different kinds of paprikas from Hungary. Spicy, Smoked & Sweet.
They smell & taste incredible.
I'm researching some recipes that feature these spices & was just curious if anyone on here had any experience or pointers to throw my way.
Thanks in advance.

Paprika chicken with those little dumplings was my favorite dish when I was in Budapest. Never made it back home, so I don't have any recipes for you, unfortunately.

Chicken Paprikesh seems to be the most popular dish as I dig into it further.
I've cooked a lot with paprikas as an accent flavor but never really as the feature.
I'm thinking of making a marinade of Greek yogurt, lemon zest, spicy paprika, onion & garlic. Skewering some chicken thighs and cooking over high heat coals.
Maybe some stewed down chick peas & zucchini with the sweet paprika as a side.
I have an absolute shitload of it.
Thanks Josh.

If you find yourself enjoying the dishes you make, Red Stick Spice on Jefferson (assuming you're in BR) has multiple types of paprika

Thanks man. Not in BR. But frequent visit.
I'll revisit Red Stick Spice next time in town.
I'll update with pics on Sunday.

Moved down Jefferson from where it used to be, so make sure you look it up first.

I make chicken paprikash, it uses plenty paprika. Be careful with the spicy, its just like cayenne pepper.
