meh
I made a bunch of veggies purees and my 2 year old still likes them as a snack
I bought re-usable pouches and a loading system and freeze them
cheaper than buying those squeezable pouches from the store that generally run $2/pouch
I also like making the popsicles

I know waited until the birth recently to find out and it was so much fun.
We waited for both. People that have already named their kids are breaking all kinds of rules.

so is mine
the only thing she won't eat is just plain meat for some reason so we always have to mix it with something
but she eats her veggies like a champ, not that she really has a choice since this time of year we eat roasted veggies from the garden daily

I'm just saying be prepared. Mine haven't touched broccoli since they were two. Loved it until then. Kids are jerks.

they are also stupid
mine quit eating carrots for a while so I just started cutting them long ways and calling them french fries
now she loves her orange "french fries"
I'm sure she will get pickier as she ages though, no doubt

Yeah man. I've kept up with you and know you are serious about a healthy lifestyle. I'm just trying to break you in for you're kid wanting McDonald's, even though you've never been to McDonald's with them.

I had you confused with somebody else. So you are having Glassman's baby?

That's so much fun. I call it "it's a" versus "finding out". I like "it's a" better, though it's quite convenient to be "finding out". I can see why many people want to know ahead of time. It's still fun to find early. It's just that you don't get to see the baby shortly thereafter.

I've been freezing purees in ice trays and putting them in zip locks. Easy/cheap.

I just don't see any reason why anyone would ever need to use the term.
It is nice to have one word that encompasses a whole community of people. Unfortunately, because it sounds so douchey, when I am speaking with someone I don't know and the topic of food comes up, I just say "I'm a big food person." And then I explain further that I love cooking and whatnot if they ask.

I'm passionate about food. But so is everyone else I know.
Must be nice. Just yesterday, I was suggested Landry's Seafood when I asked for a good place in the area (Kemah) to eat. I love the person dearly who suggested it. But I just don't have many acquaintances who are food people beyond loving to eat in general.
