Old NOLA duplex-neighbors once bought 100+ lbs of cooked K Jeans crawfish for a business-paid house party that didn't work out for some reason. Boxes and boxes of delicious crawfish, all sitting in my back yard. Neighbor said it was all mine; toss out what I didn't eat.

I didn't meet GRTiger's 37-hour standard, but I paced myself and ate all afternoon and all night. 15 lbs? 20 lbs? More? I finally quit more from exhaustion than satiation.

I have no idea. If I'm at a restaurant I'll usually get a couple extras with it and I'll eat 5lbs. If I'm at home I'm usually drinking too many beers to have any earthly idea of how many lbs of crawfish I've eaten.

How are yall estimating this?

I made the mistake of introducing my daughter to crawfish. It's by far her favorite food. Last time I bought 3 pounds for us to share I couldn't peel them fast enough for her. I only got 2. Not 2 pounds. 2 tails total. And that was only because I snuck them from her. So, I have no idea anymore how much I could eat because I always have to peel them for her. However I managed to squeeze in an important life lesson to her. I told her true love is someone peeling crawfish for you.

I have a friend who, out of politeness, brings his own sack when he goes to a boil. 30 lbs is his average...but he doesn't suck the heads.

I stop in Tony's and buy my daughter 15 lbs and she eats all of them. She doesn't like corn or potatos. Has been eating this much since she was about 10. She probably weighs a hundred pounds

For what? An appetite?

She's a cross country runner. And a crawfish, shrimp and roasted chicken eater.

Must be the blandest bugs ever made. His hands looked clean....no spice on the outside of the bugs....he never took a sip of water. I bet they didn't even season them.
