If I buy a sack today, will they still be alive tomorrow? How do I keep them alive?

I would think lay flat in an ice chest or dump them out. Cover them with a damp towel and pour some ice on top the towel.
Maybe even spray them every once in a while

Yes
Ice chest with ice
Leave it unplugged to drain and top cracked
They go sleepy time

I've seen a sack of crawfish last 4 days in a walk in cooler. Maybe 1 in 20 were dead, but they could have been that way on day 1.
We just poured a bit of water over them a few times a day.

Way to many variables to answer that

They should be fine unless the crawfish you buy today have been in the cooler since Monday which is very possible on holy week.

Keep them cool and wet

You need to get the sack off of the bottom of the ice chest. I use two 2" by 4" boards cut to lay cross ways of the chest. Leave plenty of room between the board and side of chest so water can drain. Add ice, open plug and tilt chest to drain better.
If the night is cool I will leave a small crack in the top of the chest.

We tilt the ice chest, leave the drain plug open, put a bag of ice on top of the sack of crawfish and leave the lid cracked. They'll keep for one day for sure, probably 2-3. More than 3 days and you're gonna start losing some of them.
Don't let the ice run out tho.
Eta: And poke holes in the bag so it drains cold water down through them. Or just dump the ice on top of them.

Do what others have said, but leave them in the sack. If you let them lose, some will kill and eat each other.

Weve been buying our crawfish for Good Friday on the Wed before for the past 10 years. Put them in a ice box and they good to go on Friday.
