How long can you keep fish filets frozen in water?

I have absolutely no idea...going on 7 months with some redfish filets, thinking of frying them this wknd. I assume some folks here would say years right?

A year is about my cut-off, but my aunt will tell you she's had fish frozen in water for two years and they've been fine. I would definitely eat at 7 months.

Couple years. But I usually try to eat it within a year.
