How Do You Make Your Whiskey Sour?

Whiskey type?
Sugar type? (Liquid, Granulated?)
Real or bottled lemon juice?
Shaken, stirred?
Garnished with a cherry or orange?
Just curious what, in your opinion, makes a quality Whiskey Sour?

The classic Whiskey Sour recipe
¦1.5 tablespoons lemon juice
¦1 teaspoon sugar
¦1.5 ounces bourbon
Combine in a shaker with ice, shake well, strain into a glass and garnish with an orange slice on the rim or a maraschino cherry dropped down into the drink.
Use real lemon, sugar syrup will mix easier, bourbon is to tase...mine is makers mark...shake it...the rest is garnish...I like the orange and the cherry.....for a change I muddle the orange slice in the glass first.

I will take as long as needed to prepare a meal....but it doesn't take me long to fix a drink 
....my drink recipe is shorter...pour scotch in glass.

Nice. I've only ever had it with sour mix. Sounds much better this way.
