Take the downtown light rail and get off on the McGowan exit, then walk about a block to Reef. Or, if you've got $ and want to live it up, Vic and Anthony's. Late night beer at the Flying Saucer.

There are a bunch of other bars downtown that I'd direct people to before the Flying Saucer....Pastry War, OKRA, Public Services Wine & Whiskey, Moving Sidewalk.

Thanks Guys for all the great recommendations. This was exactly what I was looking for. I will report back what places we checked out, and let you know what we thought!

I go to bars for the craft beer selection so have no experience or use for the others.
