Just tried the code and it's for $139 rooms (at least the weekend we'll be down there it is).

OP- Call Monteleone and tell them that you booked the room, and got the e-mail right after. If nothing else, you should be able to cancel and re-book, assuming you aren't going this weekend.

i used to work at the hotel st. marie for a summer job. that is also a great hotel for the price. its like 86 bucks a night. that, prince conti, and place d armes are all owned by the valentinos. I think all the hotels are great for what you pay. St. marie has a sick pool too

Gris Gris... Criollo opens for dinner Monday. I went to the mock dinner, it's besides the awesome food, Thursday-saturday nights there's live music in the lounge that spills into the dining room. It's a cool swanky place @ night.

Oh yeah, it was certainly swanky couple weekends ago when the Shreveport crew in town for a wedding took over.

fwiw, I didn't care for the drinks in the lounge but it's a cool place to hang out.

Was this last weekend? I was in there and remember meeting lots of north Louisiana people. I will admit drinks are hit & miss. W/ so many bartenders consistency can be an issue, and if I'm payin $10 for a cocktail it better be right. All I drink is old fashions and they have yet to frick it up
