I wouldnt steam leftovers because it dries them out, but I always prefer hot.

Take whatever you don't eat the day of the boil... Peel it, Dave it, and make an etoufee

Cold boiled crawfish are as good as cold pizza and cold fried chicken.

This.
I can't tell you how many times I've eaten cold boiled crawfish or crabs for breakfast. It usually goes.... I'm going to peel me a few crawfish to make an omelet, 5 minutes later I've peeled 20, kept the tails of 5 and eaten 15, so I end up eating crawfish.

When crawfish are spicy AF, I like eating them cold the next day.
I don't know why people are up in arms about this topic. I can eat them faster when they're hot, but I can eat more of them when they're cold.
Also, crawfish for breakfast is a good reason to crack a beer before 8 am. That's a veteran move IMO.

Veteran is right. I like both. Even cold you can still suck the heads. You probably can appreciate the flavor of the crawfish more when they're cold because the temperature is no longer impeding it.

I've never been into hot food cold. That includes crawfish and pizza.
