Plan to head to Urban South's brewery for the first time tomorrow.

Stoked.

Go early or late. It's really hot in the middle of the day. I can't understand why they don't build out a little A/C taproom? It has to do something with the lease. You could build out a nice little area in there with A/C for less than 150K. I think the added sales would easily pay for that.

Well, that's not true

Courtyard has AC? I guess that's beneficial for the 3 people sitting at the small table inside and the bartenders.

Personally it makes no difference to me if they do or don't have AC, I'm still stopping by there every now and then for a beer.

Have you ever been to courtyard?

Serious question.

Yes a bunch

Have you?

Are you mad because I didn't think Courtyard has AC? Does it really matter if they do or don't due to the small amount of inside space? I've never seen the doors closed so what diff. would AC make?

I'm assuming this is why they are trying to open a second location... for inside seating.

Wise, you probably just gave up one of the least known craft beer honey holes in the state.

Just curious bro. They have A.C. and seat plenty inside.

It isn't US size obviously.

With Swatch here. Was inside just Wednesday and couldn’t have told you if there was AC working...had many a fan though. Like SKW said, this doesn’t change my visiting habits in the least, as I go early middle and late in the day once every two weeks or so. I will sit in any covered area to drink quality beer, AC or no.

PS, love This and That as well as Colorless Energy. They’ve got too many beers to chose from at the moment imho

It's hotter inside the building than outside. If they have a/c they must not run it. Must be a liberal Cali thing to conserve energy.

At Urban South right now. Awesome space. Definitely cool enough despite no A/C.

Octoberfest and the Frieze Milkshake IPA are goddamn delicious!

You sit on a throne of lies. Dropped in to buy a 6er at U.S. at 3pm and it was hotter than O's seat. Dripping sweat after 4 minutes in and out.

I bought a 6-pack post revamp and I approve. But I must say, changing to cheap plastic web carriers does have a bad image.

If you were dripping sweat after 5 minutes you must be in terrible shape.

The temperature was fine.

Hell I was going to thank them for that. Much easier than those big plastic discs. I like the web.

But the plastic discs are awesome. Better for the environment, they look better, and I can re use them at home to carry my beer around

I agree. Plus they keep the tops of the cans clean.
