Help with drying herbs?

I do not have a dehydrator. Has anyone in the humidity we have to deal with had any luck drying herbs like basil, chives and rosemary without a dehydrator? Lowest temp in the oven, maybe?

Put them in separate paper bags, and close with a paper clip. Set aside for a week or so. Your dried, ready to pick off the stem and crush.

I just hang mine in the kitchen with some burlap twine. Looks good and they dry out after several months.

I haven't had luck air drying them. My house was built in 1936. It isn't "tight" enough to do that here.

Modernist Cuisine has a method for doing it in the microwave.
