Help me pick between Smashburger and Red Robin.

Ok, I have been eating healthy and excercising like a madman for nearly 8 weeks. I have lost 30+ pounds. During this time, I have not eaten a burger. I need one! Tuesday my daughter and I are going to the movies and want to try a place we have not been to; these two places are new to us. Help me decide! I will list my favorite BR burger joints below for taste references.

Red Robin will forever be one my guilty pleasure restaurants. Every time I would visit my now wife in college we would go eat at Red Robin. I love the burgers and wings and getting bottomless steak fries with the burger is great.

Fix ya up a turkey burger when you get a hankerin for one while eating healthy my man. Or some lean ground beef

I didn't care for Smashburger but I would still go there every day over Red Robin. Red Robin is just a cheap chain restaurant on the level of Chilis and we went and had such horrible service that I vowed to never go back. Not even an offer of a free meal enticed me back. Service there is the worst I have ever experienced and it doesn't seem to be unusual to get the kind of service I got.

Red Robin is a guilty pleasure. My wife makes fun of me because I probably eat there once a month. The Pub Burger reminds me of the burgers they made at Bonanza/Western Sizzler when I was a kid.
Smashburger was OK, but the service was horrible when we went there a month or so ago

Red robin reminds me of a burger chilis. Don't go to that shite. I give smashburger the nod because they have the best milkshake I think I've ever had that I didn't make myself.

Jesus Christ it's a fricking burger. There isn't that much of a difference between all these new fancy burger chains. They're all decent. The only burgers I am really impressed with are the ones I make at home.
