Word, I'm not really scared, but there are far better places, even in the immediate area to frequent than Happy's. For me, personally. I have, like some other guys in this thread have also been hit with minor billing errors, and other inconsistencies in the past.

ok either batman or cat both work for one of the spots. Even if they don't the knighting for Happy's is impressive.

D&Bs might suck but they are a bigger entity and it wouldn't take much low balling when moving in to put a shitastic place with a known reputation for terrible service to put Happy's out of business.

The one downtown sucks as well. Nothing Irish or pub about any of them.

That way you know exactly what you're spending .. If you get 2 beers and the bill is $24 .. then you figure it out then .. not after 6 hours of being a "hey brahhhhh.. I have a tab at the bar !!!!" cool dude and then stunned that your tab is $86 and come running here to trash Happy's for your incompetence .. It ain't their job to sort your table out ..

As a general rule, nobody should need a reason to trash Happy's.

Its just gawd awful.

happy's is just a bar .. how someone chooses to use it is up to them .. running tabs is just fricking stupid .. what's the benefit ? it takes you all of 12 seconds to pull cash out of your pocket each time .. hell, if you don't have cash, throw your card down every time and close the tab after every drink .. i am sure happy's has done some dumb shite with tabs .. but i am sure more often than not, it is the customer that does dumb shite with their tabs and are either too drunk to remember what they did the next morning or have no idea they paid for the table next to them too ..
