I love it, Todd and Regina are awesome. I agree it can be a pain to get a beer when busy and it is small bUt a great atmosphere

This. Best bar atmosphere in Hammond in my opinion.

I agree that the layout of Red White and Brew makes it a challenge sometimes to get around and get a drink, but it's usually a good atmosphere and a great selection for this town.

They should take over the old guys grocery and open something like acquistapaces has in Mandeville but with a bar. Someone needs to take over that building and do something awesome like a brewpub.

impossible to get a drink when it's busy and way too cramped in there
It's just me...everyone else likes it

Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded.

I understand why it is. Clean, great service; we had burgers, fries, rings, a shake and a malt for a great pre-game meal.

Plan on returning Saturday. Thanks so much. CL

Agree on all the recommendations, but Trey Yuen. Food quality has significantly gone downhill in the past few years. The Mandeville location is light years better.

Love Tommy's, Mariner's, Iron Horse and Cate Street for sushi moreso than the regular menu.

Lee's is solid and space looks so much better since the re-opening.

Todd is one of the coolest guys in town. First time I went to the Brew we talked like we had been best friends for years. I do wish it was bigger though, I tried to go a few weekends ago when I was in town, and couldn't sit at the bar or get to the chiller so we left for the Crescent (tGOAT bar anywhere IMO).

Todd may not always remember your name, but he'll always remember your face and greets you as family every time you walk in. It's tough to sit at the bar or get to the chiller at times. We sit/stand outside a good bit and go back inside when the crowd starts to thin out. The Crescent is a good place to be as well!

So if Trey Yuen is no bueno, what other good Chinese restaurants would you recommend?

There's not much Chinese to eat in Hammond. I know it's Japanese, but I like Nagoya and Kirin. Now if you want Mexican, take your pick because there are too many Mexican places in Hammond.

Your Mom's has the best burgers in Hammond. For the best Po Boys in the area go to Manchac and try "Fat Boys" it's a tiny little hole in the wall before you get to middendorfs. Everything is fresh seafood caught that day. Best to ahead to make sure they will have what you want. 985-386-5823

That's true about Todd, Everytime I've been in he has made me feel welcome. Even if it is trying new beer that someone gave him or just shooting the shite
