Had the worst crawfish of my life yesterday

I'm very surprised that I got the worst crawfish that my girlfriend and I had ever had from Sammy's on highland. I love Sammy's and have had good crawfish from there before but lastnights was terrible. Was over cooked, bland, and everything was mushy and crushed a huge disappointment.

Obviously they were leftovers.
Sadly it's becoming a common practice with some of the places that do large boils. When they don't sell crawfish, they will either mix in the old ones with new batches or on some cases just drop the old ones in a boil for a few seconds and pass them off as new. They aren't about to take a hit and throw away the old ones.

I'm in a fraternity and we have boils, but we usually get them catered so they are fine

I've been preaching it and no one will listen on TD...Hammy's is overrated. The quality has gone down with the quantity they want to be pushing

If they were reheated that would really piss me off, seems like they could just take the leftovers and use them in their other dishes like étouffée.

I got some from the Prairieville location that were the same way. Mushy, and gritty tasting. They had to be the day before's crawfish. Worse crawfish I've ever had.

I'm just saying that Sammy's Crawfish was once better than it is now...They want to push the maximum amount of product, which in turn, is sacrificing quality
