Their boudin used to be great. Hadn't had it in years though.

Their boudin isnt very good. I am prepared to acknowledge that everyone hs their own taste for what is good boudin.
That being said, everything else for sale in that place is delicious!!! I keep my freezer stocked with their tasso and smoked sausage. Being originally from the eunice/basile area, im very critical of smoked sausage and it pains me to say that the best sausage comes from a place as far north as pineville. The pork/pepperjack/jalapeno sausage is freaking amazing for sausage poboys with some jack miller bbq sauce!
If they have any jerky made, grab some of that because it is also amazing.
They stuff pork chops with different kinds of stuffings and once again, stay away from the boudin stuffed items. But try the chops stuffed with shrimp and tasso. Those are good.
The ground beef is butcher shop quality ground beef.
The freezer stocking deals are really good. Ifyou are going to buy a bunch of meat, they will cut you some really good deals.
