My daughter and I want to go eat pizza but want to try somewhere we have not been. These two places have been on our list for a while. Which one would you recommend? I see Grimaldi's uses a brick oven...does Reginelli's?

This shouldn't be on anyone's list.

I can't stomach eating at this place because the inside smells like dishwater 24/7. I don't know why it smells so horrible in there, but it has kept me away for years.

Why? Be specific. What type of pizza do you like? Where do you like to go?

Grimaldi's Pizzeria is terrible, front 10 minute plus greet times, to employees cursing around customers every chance they get, take 10 minutes plus to get my spouse and I our soft drinks, then waited over 30 minutes for one small pizza to be served, which was served to us after a table of guys that ordered after us ordered, making me never want to go back. Saw the manager stand around and stare at us but could not move any faster to make sure we ate before the century turned, we were one of the 3 tables in the restaurant, what a terrible experience. Pizza was good, but not worth $34 and the frustration we had the rest of the night. Red Robin and Grimaldi's will never earn my business again

Reginelli's uses a conveyor belt oven. If you decide to go to Reginelli's you'd probably enjoy yourself more at the Jefferson location than the one near campus. Last time I went to the one on Chimes street it felt more like a bar that served pizza than a restaurant with a bar (if that makes sense).

Haven't been to the Grimaldi's in BR but visited one of them in another state. Good pizza, probably a little overpriced. Definitely more of a New York style than Reginellis.

I haven't tried Grimaldi's. Where is that at?
Reg is alright, but my favorite pizza near campus comes from Mellow.

Why don't your provide this sort of information for us? Then, we'll be able to tell you which of the two more closely reflects your own preferences.

I think they make mediocre pizza. I've had very inconsistent experiences there. I prefer thin crust "neopolitan" style like Domenica, Ancora.

Can't help you in BR as I was just commenting on the one you listed that I have tried.

I had a similar experience last week. The staff wasn't rude or anything but very, very unprofessional. Cursing very loudly and screwing around. The manager was definitely doing a piss-poor job of managing staff. Pizza wasn't bad though.

Go to Grimaldi's. Eat. You will like the pizza. Then go next door to Red Robin because you will still be hungry. Enjoy!
