So as we all know in the south, it's hot as crap outside this week. Our families are skipping the traditional ham/turkey feast and have decided to grill out with some steak and chicken. They put us in charge of the chicken. Anyone have any can't miss, go-to marinades that they would recommend? Will be grilling on the pit. T.I.A.!

Salt,10 minutes before it goes on the grill. Then pepper after it is removed from the grill. Leave the sauce on the side for those who feel they need it.

McCormick "Grill Mates" Mesquite Marinade.

Great tasting.. You can also use the marinade for chicken in pasta alfredo.

Put a whole chicken inside of a slow cooker, add one third a bottle of white wine along with lots of garlic, salt and pepper of course, lemons, rosemary, a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 cup minced onion, 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar.

Cook that bad boy for 6 to 8 hours in the slow cooker, and you will have yourself a delicious and soft chicken for everybody to enjoy

I recently tried a marinade of pineapple juice, soy sauce, and brown sugar for chicken and pork, everyone liked it. I can't remember the exact recipe, but it was about a cup of each, and I added in some sriracha

Weber makes a dry rub for chicken called "Kickn Chicken" It's pretty good seasoning on its own but i add it to my marinades sometimes to add some heat.
