Need some help finding good green onion sausage. Hopefully one that when you cut into it you can see some onion. Winn Dixie's store used to be pretty good but what I had last night was bad.

Go to Templets in Pierre Part!!!!!!!!! Bring an icechest and buy as much meat as you can store. His HOMEMADE green onion sausage is awesome. Im not sure where you live but it is worth the drive. I know people who drive from north of Central to get meat.. You can't beat his meat

Be careful green onion sausage doesn't freeze well.
The onions release some type of gas that leaves a bad taste after being frozen.

I asked the same question around New Year's. I tried Rouses and it was nowhere near as good as Winn Dixie.

Try Richard's. I've not personally tasted it, but I like their regular sausage.

Are you talking 'green' green onion sausage?

My favorite green green onion is Guillorys in Pine Prarie, very lean, so careful how you choose to cook it.
