The wife and I are going to Commanders Palace next weekend for our anniversary. Neither of us have been before. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Anything you order is going to be superb. However, based on past threads, favorites of this board seem to be the turtle soup, shrimp and tasso henican, and bread pudding souffle.

It's my favorite restaurant, anywhere. Enjoy

You'll have a fabulous meal. I gave an addiction to the shrimp and tasso Henican. Anything you order should be great.

Talk to your waiter. Let him make suggestions and enjoy.

The chef's playground menu if available is where it's at. It lets the chefs showcase their skills. Of course, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We did the Chef's table in the kitchen a few months back, and it was amazing. May be the best meal I have eaten anywhere. You will enjoy it.
