They have announced a distribution deal with Flood Distributors out in Texas. As I understand it, unless they expand production quickly, the product they send to Texas will mean less for Louisiana. .....they are just distributing to south texas.....Houston mainly.

Yes. He said he'll never expand out of state before getting to everyone in state.

skipping over a city to go to the biggest market in the state is different than skipping an entire market in the state to go out of state...

Not really. Houston is just as close to Parish as Shreveport is, and a much much much much MUCH larger market.

To be fair, Shreveport is pretty much out of state.

I don't know all the TX taxes and regulations and such. Obviously it's going to cost something extra to start distribution into TX vs. North LA. Doesn't mean it wouldn't be worth it though.

the damn brewery is called Parish

he needs to distribute to the rest of the state before he goes out of state

I'm assuming it easier to go to a new market in-state than out-of-state as well

This.

Plus the shite-storm that would ensue on this board should such a thing happen would be pretty damn entertaining...while I drink my LA GOAT recently purchased at my local HEB.
