I'd go to Arbys just out of support.

Vegetarians the newest special interest group being persecuted?

I eat vegetarian quite a bit and went several months last year eating strictly vegetarian and felt much much better. That said they are a very whiny and annoying bunch.

Do you have any good recs for local pizza places? I have heard good things about My Pie and Riverboat pizza.

The bbq brisket sandwich they came out with last year was pretty legit for a fast food joint.

I like Basil's on Wilmington.

I've heard good things about Hucapoos on Tybee.

There is a place called Your Pie (I think that might be what you are referring to). I like it.

Siciliano's on Whitemarsh is good for takeout. Sort of sketchy and run down.

I am going to Screamin' Mimi's tonight. Will let you know.

I've also heard good things about Vinnie Van GoGo's but I have not been.

Eh. It's a huge party bar first and foremast, that happens to serve a decent at best pizza. Takes an hour for them to make it when they're packed. Not worth the drive over.

Good info. I go out to Tybee a lot, so I may stop in some day. It's good to know what to expect.

By far the best restaurant / bar on Tybee is Tybee Island Social Club. Good food, good atmosphere, nice beer and drink selection.

Do people actually go to Arby's? I'm not vegetarian but I do often times go days or weeks without eating meat. Not on purpose, but meat just isn't a huge part of my diet. I do love a good steak and some pulled pork, though. I think most people eat a disgusting amount of meat but that's just my opinion.

Mouton is the epitome of a health-conscious consumer on TD. He eats at Arby's.

I haven't been to one since a 2009 Bolt Bus trip from Boston to NYC. It's where they stopped for "dinner and a bathroom break." Everyone brought their Arby's onto the bus afterward. Truly revolting watching a bunch of fat poor people chowing down on roast beef in such a tepid enclosed space. Haven't been back since.

Yea I guess that's it. I have nothing against meat. What I do have something against is what most fast food places are calling meat.

I had the aforementioned brisket sandwich a couple times last year after hearing people on this board talk about it. That is the only time I have been there in years.

I've been once and it was a mixed bag.
Really cool deck and really nice bar, but with metal fold up chairs and wood tables without any covering.

Some of the food was great. Other was only so so. Service was also a bit sporadic.

Food prices are extremely reasonable, yet $12 for a Moscow Mule.

That said, I look forward to going back. Adam Sandler was there on Sunday, fwiw.
