Of course, and I like the strings to be really long so that they hit my chin trying to get them in my mouth such that I have a nice stringy scar.

In the Mike Anderson cookbook he says to roll the shrimp in flour, dip in water, then roll in flour again, then drop in hot oil. I've used this recipe for a couple of years and they come out real crispy. This recipe is excellent if you're making shrimp poboys. The shrimp stay crispy after you add your fixings to the poboy.
