Will be in Fort Worth for 2 nights. Give me some places where I can drink a few beers and eat good food.

Also, I've heard good things about The Collective, worth a visit?

If you like sushi, Shinjuku Station is really good.

I went there about a year ago and found a place called Total Wine and More. Had a better selection than anywhere else I went including Spec's. That's if you're looking to take some back with you.

Also went to a bar called The Brass Tap downtown that had a pretty good selection and some decent bar food.

Beer:
Bearded Lady- pub in an old house
T&P Tavern- in the old, restored main strain station. You can still catch the train to Dallas there.
Flying Saucer has a nice, big patio downtown.
I haven't been to Collective but they are doing good stuff. Martin House is maybe the best brewery in DFW. Their Friday IPA is really good as is their Gose and BB Stout.

For mexi, El Asadero is a hole in the wall old school tex-mex place near the Stockyards that is good.

I 3rd on Heim. I was out there on business 2 months ago and those bacon wrapped burnt ends were so tasty that my boss and I still talk about those things. I'm no brisket expert but that's got to be some of the best in that state and I bet I've eaten at 100 BBQ joints all over the state of Texas.
