Heading to Houston for the weekend. Lunch spots on the way? There was a seafood place we have eaten on the way to Shreveport once before, I believe on I-49, not too far from I-10. We cannot remember the name.

Prejeans? new owner and it's decent

ETA: personally, id drive a few more miles west and eat at Fezzo's off the Scott/Duson exit. Uncle T's in Scott is a little further off I-10 but great food.

If you are stopping at the Scott exit, go to Uncle T's. Don't bother with Fezzo's.

I have been wanting to stop here on my way either direction. Which way is it off of 10 and how far?

If I want something quick I stop at Darrells in Jennings. I can exit, eat, and be back on 10 in less than 30.

Too late but you could catch Boudin King in Jennings on the trip back. Or take a little extra time and head down to Mermentau and eat at C’est Bon

Grab some cracklins from Best Stop. You will want a snack when it takes 3 hours to get through Orange/Beaumont.

South into Scott. It’s maybe 2 miles.

Time wise, it’s the same as going to Darrell’s

Or you could hold out until you cross the state line and stop at Stuckeys

Exit 97 is one of the great food exits in America. Bring a cooler and load up on boudin, andouille, smoked sausage, tasso, and on. I love Scott, LA.

Also, exit 44 for Rabideaux's. Their smoked andouille is GOAT.
