Went to Jazz Fest once about 5 years ago. Crawfish Bread and Crawfish Monica were good. Food is kind of pricey though and the nasty chick hippies with dreads and unshaven armpits are gross . Some unsightly ogres go to Jazz Fest.

I'll figure a way to do it. Became a pro from Saints game.

And no jeans at jazz fest. Hot hot hot.

Yeah, I figured that, but I wasn't sure if you were part of the no cargo short crew.

+1

not everything needs to be spit-shined corporate bullshite.

maybe some people just need to stick to their gated communities, the mall and Rave.

Prices are very reasonable I find. Not sure what you're eating there

If you drink clear liquor then it is incredibly easy to bring it in. They allow you to bring an ice chest and bottled water. Empty bottled water and fill back up with the clear liquor of your choice.

Oh, and you can also bring food as well. Of course I eat all of the great foods there but my wife and I also bring some fruit (strawberries, grapes) to snack on. Keep that in the ice chest too and it is pretty refreshing when it is scorching hot. With that said, it would be really easy to soak some fruit in alcohol the night before and bring that in too.

I wear the shortest shorts possible to bare the heat and catch a tan

No cargos for me either though. Nola summers are too hot for all that.

And that's why I haven't been back, partially...The other reason is because Jazz Fest always coincides with final exams and final exams study time.

I would totally go see Foo Fighters and Jimmy Buffett if it were in an arena venue. Or I'd even suck it up and see them at Jazz Fest. But it's always at a busy time of year for me.

Sorry if I'm a suburban snob (that yall basically called me) for thinking that quite a few of the people that attend are gross and look like they haven't showered in 10 years. It's da truth!! I'd be handing out free Schick razors and deodorant to the hippies.

You go to enough sporting events and you can appreciate prices like that. Even so I don't see too many people calling it over priced
