If it is a special occasion and you are spending big $, the seafood tower app is killer.

Filet with crabmeat. Tomato and mozzarella salad, lava cake. Lava cake a must. It's pricey. We ate there Thursday and it was 200$ for 2 of us. Of course we were boozing it up

thats ok i am a meat moron. when i go to flemings i always get the seafood. i had the salmon last week and it was perfect. i just thought the OP would probably want meat...and my husband got the filet/quail special. there was also crabmeat on his plate. i ate a bite of the filet with the crab and it was the most marvelous feeling.

A few fancy food terms to keep in mind:

infused: if something is infused, it has had something spread on it (garlic infused bread), or it's a dip (red wine infused cream cheese).

reduction: gravy (a balsamic reduction; white wine reduction; etc.)

_______ encrusted: sprinkled with spices (peppercorn encrusted mahi).

panko: bread crumbs.

medley: more than one (vegetable medley)

spring vegetables: includes squash

fall vegetables: includes squash

seasonal vegetable medley: zucchini and yellow squash

Also, don't worry about being a messy eater. every so often a little guy comes around with a flat piece of metal (a "crumb knife" to those in-the-know) and cleans up after you.

You? No way

Anyway I think they have one of the best ribeyes I've had. I'd get that or the beef flemington.

Probably can't go wrong with the filet there but I haven't tried it.

Alright....We had a reservation at 6 and got there about 2 minutes before and were promptly seated.

The lady ordered a glass of Reisling. I ordered a glass of pinot noir. We had BBQ shrimp as an appetizer and it was really good.

We both ordered filets, medium, and they were cooked perfectly. The steak was excellent.

For sides, we got the Fleming's potatoes which were good and roasted corn. I wouldn't order the corn normally but she wanted it and we both agree we wouldn't get it again.

Our waiter - Otis - was polite and knowledgeable but a little slow. He did have an 8 top so we understood.

After tip, it was ~$170. Somewhat pricey for two people especially since we only had one glass of wine each. But the steaks made it well worth it.

Is my requested waiter everytime I go. Sorry for his attentiveness, he is great.

I do bring my own wine and need very little attention.

Way back in the stone age when I did such things, my beer funnel was named "Otis". :csb:

prices seem to have gone up a bit.
