Does it exist? Any recommendations appreciated. looking for anything upscale that isnt fish tacos and seafood platters. Going first weekend of October if it matters. A nice steakhouse or upscale seafood would be fine. Thanks for any help.

Do a search. This is a weekly topic in the summer.
ETA Fischers Upstairs, Louisiana Lagniappe, Cosmos, Cobalt are nice places to eat.

I'll add Villagio at the Wharf and Nolans is one of favorites since they have live music in the bar every night and great steaks.

I really like Shipp's Harbour. Right on the water, good food, and beautiful view.

I worked there for a couple months, and the Chef (owner) has a wife who is absolutely crazy.
She is certifiable, but the food is good, and the view is tops.

Make the short road trip north to Magnolia Springs and dine at Jesse's. It is only a one beer drive and worth the trip.
