To all you NOLA FBD posters... headed down after work to see Chris Stapleton tonight at Champions Square. What's the best place to park, and anywhere easy we can grab a bite and some beers right around there? We probably won't have time to go hit up Avenue Pub, unless traffic is non-existent, which is never the case.

Borgne is a good place for food and beers before.

What time is the concert? I'm assuming it's late enough to where you can't do Borgne or Willa Jean happy hours. I'd probably just grab Company Burger.

Concert starts at 7:30 according to the tickets... we will likely be heading out of BR at 4:30, so realistically parking around 6 I hope, but any traffic issues and that will be pushed back.

I've been to Borgne and it was definitely a thought to just grab some spots at the bar there.

Yeah what time are you getting there? Also what exit do you plan to take?

What would you recommend for easy parking and easy getting back to BR after?

I was going to tell you what I normally do for Saints games which is stay on the hwy toward the bridge and get off at Loyola but 6 on a weekday may be a totally different route.

If you have time, maybe park by Avenue Pub, enjoy a few beers and then Uber/Lyft to Champions Square. Should be able to park for free and would also have fairly easy interstate access after the ride back.

The Carlsbad Lunch Special. LaCumbre Malpais Stout and green chili grits.

Meanwhile, just bought LaCumbre Elevated IPAs at Albertson's at a price of $7.99 per 4-pack of 16oz cans. Top tier IPA for dirt cheap.

Just recently gave up the office in the Entergy building, or I would have just let you use my parking pass. With the crime rate in the city soaring, the fear of being carjacked or shot on the way to work won out. The garage directly behind the Entergy building usually has parking for special events, and is connected to the Hyatt which will put you at borgne.

Is he in Carlsbad? If so, he better hurry and get to the store because I think I left only one 4-pack on the shelf.
