Yes, it certainly is. I saw it at Calandro's last week, but I did not buy any since I came back from Jackson with some.

DJ is one of my favorites. I've come to like dirt wolf more than I did initially but I'd put it behind DJ

drinking a dirt wolf. pretty good but i think the double jack is a bit better

When DJ is fresh, there aren't many I like better. I have not seen any fresh in quite a while.

BTW, BinQ restocked with fresh Green Flash IPA and Imperial IPA. They also have Endeavor bottled 6/29, which is not bad. I had one last night and it was drinking great.

Yea these were 5/22. Gonna talk to the beer guy there and ask him how the dates have been and whats the freshest they tend to get.

The pliny was dated 7/29 so my buddy bought it about a week after it was bottled. Not bad

Zealot sent us pics of some dated February something or other. I can't for the life of me imagine how a beer the caliber of DJ sits on the shelves for that long. Only thing I can figure is it shows up a little old and people avoid it. I'd buy fresh DJ by the case.

I'm in Dallas and haven't bought DJ in several months. It's a great beer no doubt. But we seem to have something new to try every couple of weeks so DJ gets passed over.

Meh. I always buy beer I've not tried. But I also consistently buy beer I know to be great. Not mutually exclusive.

I was just talking to my beer guy at WF the other day about this very thing happening at his store. They have trouble selling FW's regular lineup. Seems that people prefer local stuff, even though there are very few DIPAs that are in Double Jack's class.
