It was a sad day when wiltz decided he had enough of this place. I'm cool with him and the people who dislike him, but he brought good input to this thread. In recent history you don't bring a fricking thing to this place. all you do is bitch, criticize and try to jab people who don't like the things that you do.

Mondays have a way of doing that.

Everyone has their own standards as to what they'll support and not support. Here in Portland, there are people that will not go to Fat Head's just because it's a chain from back east (with 2 other locations). There are other people who won't go to 10 Barrel because InBev bought up a majority stake in the brewery.

I don't give a shite, because both places are brewing some damn good beer, and as long as they do that, I'll continue to go and keep them on my list of recommendations to visitors from out of town.

As far as this goes, I give the guy kudos for bringing the brewery back to Texas, once the laws were changed to allow him to do so. He could have kept it up in MA.

You want to support them for making great beer, that's cool, I have no problem with that. You want to support them for being local, well I do have a comment about that, and I have made it. Good for them for at least bringing their brewery back to Texas here in the past few months.

the frick does the shite with Wiltz have to do with anything? I think it sucks that he doesn't post here anymore. For my part in everything that went down with that I emailed him and apologized. I can't blame him for not posting here anymore, these threads are fricking terrible lately between the GOAT this and GOAT that bullshite and the circle jerks over some new beer. Used to be these threads had some great info about beer and where to find it. About the only thing worth seeing now is when someone is on a trip and posts from somewhere interesting.
