Being price competitive will help them, I noticed at most they were 30-50 cents higher than Calandros and the things I am familiar with

Hulk, like I said the guy in there told me he has been making weekly runs to his other stores and ordering surplus from them on what he can't get down here. That he is going to so it with Canebrake because he can not get it up there

To be honest, I'm not very knowledgeable on beer distribution in Louisiana, but I'm fairly sure his stores in Alexandria don't have anything (if so, not much) that we can't get in the BR area.

FBD - Karbach 004 Roll in the Hay...I'm not a big saison fan, so this doesn't do it for me. It's interesting though and pretty refreshing.

How old is that Bear Republic XP? Where did it come from?

lol, good question...

My only two complaints with Hocus Pocus is that most of their guys have no idea about or aren't really concerned about freshness dates and the selection is way behind BR or New Orleans. No southern tier, southern star, slumbrew, pretty things, clown shoes, Parrish) (just off the top of my head) and rarely do they have seasonals. However, I always am able to find a plethora of Divine Reserves and Pumpkinators when released.

The one in Dutchtown had
1 Parish - Canebrake
1 Clown Shoes - tramp stamp

As far as Gonzales is concerned they have best selection but they really trail Alexander's, Calandros, and Methernes (I've never been to Cubans or others) as someone said they are comparable to Rouses but even the big Rouses on Canal has a better selection
