FBD back in TX. Opus Vert.
Shout out to the boudin magician and his weiner for the roadside exchange last weekend.

This isn't the same as GITM to me. It's got the same mouthfeel as the previous OV. I mean the hop profile is similar, but that's sort of expected these days when you use the big sexy hops. They dominate, and it's not a bad thing IMO. Also I get a lot more simcoe in this than GITM, which correlates to the last batch of OV.
And that's all I got to say about that

2BD: New Glarus Spotted Cow ... A very, very solid Cream Ale, though a bit overrated. One of the big draws is that New Glarus distributes in Wisconsin only. Luckily, my girlfriend, who still lives in Madison, brings a case down to Chicago every other weekend.

ETA: New Glarus went a bit different on the Spotted Cow label. There's now a faint orange that depicts a sunset.

Had some great beers at wicked weed Funkatorium. The party has moved down the street to Burial. Have not tried a bad beer at this place.

FBD love this beer. Wish there were more hoppy farmhouse ales out there. Brett is a little more prominent than I recall but still nice and juicy for a farmhouse.

Someone sent me a Ceremonial Session IPA in my last trade and I was very pleased.

NBD. This is such an underrated DIPA. I think this may be my favorite out of Alabama.
