FBD- Envie- definitely better the second time around. I think my expectations were off last night, its definitely a solid pale ale. Can't wait to get my hands on their DIPA and Farmhouse IPA.

2BD- Stone RIS- Trying to clean out my RIS before it gets too warm.

Next and LBD:

Was expecting more. Solid beer but wish it was more sour.

I like it. Its similar to Duchese de Borgongne (sp). The Rodenbach Grand Cru is the sour one.

Yeah. I like it but think I prefer the Duchess. I don't want this one to be like the grand cru, but maybe just a shade more that way. Picky I know....whatcha gonna do.

And as it warms up a bit here comes that profile I was expecting. Not sour but a bit on the underside of pucker.

Shared a Deep Elum IPA (which was a great little IPA) a Vanilla bean Buffalo Sweat (with a little bit of Barcardi Oakheart in it ) and these two beers with Frat last night.

The quad was kind of one dimensional for a quad but that Ranger creek beer was very interesting. Had a whole lot of flavors and textures going on for a beer.

ETA: The Kegerator has been made an official piece of "dining room" furniture. Gotta love that.

I've been told that's what we will do one day, but I'm not sure it is going to happen. I was staring at the bottles of pale ale in my closet thinking that if I had kegged it, I'd be drinking it already. Not to mention I wouldnt have the carbonation issue with my porter

Just let her decorate it.

Gotta love kegging... Put that puppy over your knee and go to town and you'll be drinking it the next day.

We have put off bottling our Kriek for weeks now because the PITA that is bottling.

I don't mind the process of bottling, I hate the wait and the uncertainty with carbonation though

Just this for me. I do like having bottles to give out/bring to places though.

Anyone know how long a beer will last if poured out of a tap into a bottle and capped?

ETA: then of course, it wouldn't age the same if it were originally bottled.

Depending on your cleanliness you should be able to do this effectively. It would be like any other bottled beer.
