FBD is a Commotion after some work around the house.

FBD is an At Arms Length. Still drinking right. The state's best IPA is a lager.

Just went down the street to our store, and they were cleaned out of Commotion. It was fully stocked 2 days ago.
I wish their beer department is what it used to be I am drinking wine because I didn't really want anything there.

UGH. I wish. I'd skip the Auburn game for it. But [A] I'm not going alone and [B] some TX loser is coming stay the weekend here.

Yep, I looked for it yesterday and it was gone. They rarely have stuff I want these days.
2BD is an Envie.

It looks like they have done a good job to improve the experience of this event.

I figure I need to check it off the bucketlist. I've not heard of anyone going, but I'm sure it's like all the beer events in this city. I'll know plenty of people.

I hope you learn your lesson...
I'm not sure where Zwanze day is happening in Portland, this year. I may drop in for aabeer, as I will be downtown on Saturday.
FBD - Fresh Hop Amarillo Pale by Golden Valley. Really good. Amarillo is not my favorite hop, but this one is really good. Found out that the new brewer at GV came from Hair of the Dog.
Funny thing, how a brewery can go from piss poor to pretty good with the right hire...

ETA: Apex Bar is hosting Z Day. Good. They'll have lots of other good stuff on tap, too.

You don't have enough craft beer drinkers there. I drink most of my beers out, and I know the bartenders, but I usually don't run into many people I know. And I'm a social guy - I'm always talking to someone at the bar.
I think that's due to the volume of people, and the fact that I have so many places in my rotation...

FBD was a Pussy Wagon. Very much enjoyed nacht 2 over batch 1.
2BD was a Yella Rose. Always good.
All of these were at the awesome Hughie's.
NBD back home is a SN Hop Hunter.

3BD is a Ruination 2.0. Switched over to Comedy Central to watch the new South Park.

That is true, but you also have to consider that the Portland metro has like twice population in comparison to the NOLA metro area. Also, we have significantly less craft beer events than y'all do up there. When a good one comes around, you can expect that the "regulars" are going to show up. Even though I expect Zwanze to be well-attended, I just expect to see the usual suspects.
