Ron - Your pic cut off the label telling us what beer that is...

ETA: I'm guessing the Blonde IPA or the regular IPA...

I also found out that the annual Fort George 3-Way will be made with Barley Brown's and Melvin. Damn, that is going to be a kick-arse IPA, and I can't wait. Could be in the same class as the Fort George/Boneyard/Block 15 3-Way two summers ago.

Yes Gary, yes!! That beer was perfect for my tastes.

FBD is a home brew IPA, STARS - An IPA. Lots of citrusy hops, some piney bitterness following.

Strong ale is a style I don't usually seek out, but this is tops for that style of beer.

Who the eff down voted this? Have an upvote, sir.

FBD was the Abita Louisiana Spiced Ale. Better than my admittedly low expectations. I actually thought it should have had more cayenne and less lemon. But it wasn't bad.

SBD was the only Louisiana beer in the Beer Advocate Top 250:

Just spoke to the Fort George rep, and the ABV is going to be 7.125%. I'm fired up. None of this session bullshite.

FBD - Alpine Neson. I may go against the general opinion on this board, but this is my favorite Alpine beer. At $4.25 for a 16 oz pour, it's a nice deal at the grocery store.

Of the Alpine IPAs I've had, it was right up there with Duet, Pure Hoppiness. I thought that Hoppy Birthday was my least favorite.

they mad. B! This was our re-attempt at our IPA. We left out the star-San addition from the cold crash vacuum this time.
