it happened at a place I buy a lot of groceries from but little beer due to crap selection and shelf turds. Thankfully they ended the practice of selling all the ghost to one guy.

well said. I like the 2016 for what it is.

That probably won't be fair -- that Abrasive can't be fresh, right?

Incredibly well. I love this beer with a little age

Definitely adds some tartness/funkiness and is smooth

Interesting, I'll have to go find some shelf aged. Sofie is the best crawfish beer

Coat, Envie is almost always around. Depending on when the freshest batch hits you may have to check a location besides one of the two or three main spots, but it can be found. E-mail me a day or two before and I'll scout for you if you'd like.

I always have some on hand to age but I inevitably drink them before they get too far along. Finding some shelf-aged is ideal. Matilda is really good with age on it too. I think the bottles say you can age up to 5 years

Welp, I just found out Melvin will be distributing in Portland, soon.

I also found out that the annual Fort George 3-Way will be made with Barley Brown's and Melvin. Damn, that is going to be a kick-arse IPA, and I can't wait. Could be in the same class as the Fort George/Boneyard/Block 15 3-Way two summers ago.
