I've seen the Mikkellers (bought some) just not a milk stout, always a coffee one

Should I ask a mule to get anything in Pass Christian? I figured its not far enough to have anything different, can you get Tallgrass down there?

Like s14 said, the Mikkeller was easily as good as the Left Hand. Picking the two left hands against each other might be a personal choice. I think the nitro is better.

As the Left Hand Nitro? That's a money beer IMO. I wouldn't be surprised, Mikkeller is quality, just wondering.

6BD is another Timber Beast. Man. I really, really like this beer. I would love to get a Timber Beast, Southern Tier 2XIPA, and a Foothills Seeing Double IPA side-by-side-by-side and really grade them out.

It is close. Just as good might be a stretch, but held its own. Wish it would have been side by side with the left hand rather than before.

Further research needed....

I really like it. I need to do a Timber Beast vs. Ruthless Rye tasting.

That makes much more sense. 2xipa and timber beast are nothing alike. Maybe throw a hop rod rye in there as well.

For the price I bet the Left Hand is better.

Add the LowRYEder IPA from sweetwater into that.... It's nice.

I thought the LowRYEder was a lot "smoother" tasting, the other two were much more hoppy IMO but I've only had TB once. I've had a ton of Ruthless though.

SBD - Sante Fe Imperial Java Stout.

Had this one sitting around a while and finally got to it. Really damn good. Great balance of the roasted malts and coffee flavors with a nice hop profile.

It worked just fine as my "dessert" this evening.

I'm sure it is also a great start to the day.
