SBD:

This one is a little old so it's a little malty, but I'm still enjoying it.

Kim, if you want to try to grab a post game beer Saturday, assuming the weather cooperates, let me know

If we actually play at noon, I should be good for a beer post game. You can stop by here. We are going to have to play it by ear. We might be playing a double header Saturday.

FBD Endeavour. ...was going to do a side x side with Dreamcrusher but my wife crushed my idea and drank my last one. But. .I believe Dreamcrusher is much better.

With an assist to HungryFisherman. The hoppy nose on that one makes it stand out among Black IPAs.

glad I could get involved with the BXN. I agree Blakkr is top notch. Definitely my top tier black IPA. Currently my favorite style. I was also told recently that black IPA isn't considered a "style" by whatever beer organization designates styles. Is that true? Any simple clarification for me? I can google later if it's complicated

I don't know who officially designates styles, but of course American Black Ale/Black IPA/Cascadian Dark Ale is a style.

Correct. There is no style for it right now for BJCP purposes. There's talk of the new guidelines having a "specialty IPA" category, but I'm not sure what will come of it.

Same here. Top tier DIPA in my book. I drank lots of the 4.20, but we did not get any of the 5.16 in these parts.

I know, had to beg for a care package from California for these. Hopefully we get some next round.
