Hey Hilt, I'm coming to ATL this weekend. Is Tropicalia as good as I've read, and is it pretty easy to find at a Greens/Hop City?

It's really solid but don't expect Pliny or Heady or Ghost level. And you'll be very lucky to find cans anywhere in Atlanta proper. Plenty of bars and restaurants have it on tap though and Hop City almost always has a keg tapped for growler fills.

Both are excellent beers.

Disagree about Old Chub Nitro, though. There aren't many scitch ales I like.

Agreed. They need to bring a keg to Whole Foods in Sugar Land. Beer tastes better when consumed in the comfort of the burbs.

Tropicalia is very good but probably not worth the crazy hype it gets. It isn't a hop bomb but I think it is a great beer. As for getting it, you can check Hop City, Ale Yeah and Greens on Twitter to see if they have it in stock. They rarely get the cans tho and recently got a shipment so supply in the next couple weeks may be short. You can probably find it in growler form in almost every shop and certainly at big beer bars.

I could so live in Belgium, everyone is nice, beer is everywhere, weather has been great, and temperature has been in 70-75 the entire time. It has been a great experience so far and tomorrow Brugge, Antwerp, and Ghent...

I liked Brugge a lot. Very picturesque city. I am headed to Dubrovnik tomorrow, very pumped.

Brussels is OK but the makeup of the city isn't really my thing.

It's hot as f in London

Brash is already the Htown GOAT before they have rolled out 1 beer.

This is just their first release day, I'm sure it will make it's way to your Saucer at the very least. I would definitely go that day.

eta- their pussy wagon releases have sold out in 10 minutes each time they've had them.

So Pussy Wagon is going to overtake Yellow Rose and Hop Delusion as the new TX GOAT?

Hop Delusion and GOAT do not belong in the same sentence.

Wish I could find cans that aren't dated in March. Wanted to try it but not paying $15 for a 4 pack of 4 month old IPA.

Actually, I like fresh Hop Delusion. But it appears within turning even 6 weeks old, it declines greatly.

If HD were made in LA, NM, KS, or various other places, it would not be in the state GOAT conversation. However, since it's made in TX, you basically have to throw it in the Top 3 hop beers with Yellow Rose and Endeavour.
