Any Memphis suggestions?

I will also be in Missouri for two days, about 2 hours south of St.Louis.

Memphis pretty much sucks as far as beer goes. They do not get Lagunitas, and several other breweries that the rest of the state gets. It wouldn't be a complete waste of time to hit up Buster's on Highland in midtown. They had a shitload of Ten Fidy the last time I was up there, as well as the rest of Oskar Blues lineup. They also get Victory, and a few others I'm probably forgetting. Be prepared to be underwhelmed.

Missouri should be a lot better, but I'm not sure what all to look for there.

How often do you make it out there? I'd join you, but idk how much running I'd do

Not as often as I'd like. But I'm putting on a race there on April 12th, so I'll be there a few times in the next month and a half.

Oh, and where did you go canoeing the other day? That looked awesome

That was at Greenwood Park in Baker. It looked much cooler than it was. It wasn't bad, but the lake and streams feeding it had so much trash in it. But my kids had a great time, and that's all that counts. I'll go back. $5/hour for a canoe rental? Cheap entertainment for sure.

Nice. Do y'all drink beer afterwards? Or is this just a race and then it's over? Just curious because I live in St. Francisville

And has anyone heard of a road bike race that is going through St. Francisville next weekend, on the 9th? Got a buddy who mentioned this the other day and thought I may check out the festivities. Supposed to be a bash after the race.

Do we? Probably gonna have 3 or 4 homebrew kegs out there as well as cans of other craft stuff. Should have a couple of my homebrewed beers out there for sure. That's the reason we run, isn't it?

Go go the growler in Memphis. They have really good local stuff going on. You can get flights for like $2 per beer.

I figured. Is this open to anyone? No worries if not. Been slowly rebuilding my knee after losing half my meniscus, but sounds like it would be a good time regardless.

Has anyone "seen" 12pence today? I'm stuck in south Ky in the snow with only BMC and plan to be back in Nashville tomorrow night.
