I really like that Odell IPA. Classic west coast style.

Life is good.

I am going to finish this BCS then hit the rack. I have another way busy day at work tomorrow. I am not complaining--it pays the bills.

Nice aroma for sure.

Picked up a sixer of Avery IPA and an uncle Jacobs stout from the liquor store earlier.
Compiling some stuff to bring home.
The stout. Not the IPAs.

Finishing up the bomber of that Stone Grapefruit. Anyone know what's up with the whole fake name thing?

Ask and you shall receive. Or, you know, google. If anyone else was wondering,

quote:

This was the entire intention of the Stochasticity Project. We created it to move the spotlight off of our company and onto beer and cool, nth degree brew tech material. We felt this was best done independent of our iconic gargoyle and sometimes enthusiastic-and-bullish-to-the-point-of-bombastic nature. These are things our fans have come to know—and love—about us, and we appreciate it big time (and love you right back), but microscopic yeast slides and scientific discussions on microbiology aren’t for everybody. So conjuring up an underground society of beer scientists studying theories of randomness in the context of craft beer seemed a fun way to go in introducing enthusiasts at all levels to not only interesting brews, but higher level technical info. Few breweries have touched on it, and we feel it’s part of the next step in the craft beer renaissance.

ETA2:

But we’re not done with the Stochasticity Project. In taking ownership of it, we’re adding on our surname and will continue to throw random and superiorly intriguing beers into the brew schedule, using the Stone Stochasticity Project as a way to get them distributed to our fans. Next up is Varna Necropolis, a most interesting, hoppy, Belgian-style golden strong ale that’s been aged in bourbon whiskey barrels. And right now, we’re toying with a Belgian-style quadrupel brewed with Pilsner malt, dark candi sugar and flaked triticale, a cross between rye and wheat.

Even better!

FBD was a bit of Cambridge Big Man IPA. Meh. I really like their Audacity of Hops. This one, not so much.

SBD homebrewed Amarillo/Citra IPA
TBD homebrewed Cascade pale ale
4BD SN Ruthless Rye
5BD Nogne/Mikkeller/Brewdog Horizon Tokyo Black - Damn!

This beer tastes like I'm calling in sick tomorrow. Glad it's only 8.5 oz. But it's fantastic.

I'll bet you can get some of Dean's cookies there.

Houston peeps, I'm looking at Friday April 11 for our shitshow to break out. I think it way better to meet you guys AFTER my training is over, instead of killing all those brain cells before. Trying to confirm with TCO since he's got the whales.

And ft, you appear to have reached Non-essential employee status. Welcome to the club.
