I applaud your efforts, but I believe someone had a beer at lunch and claimed the FBD. However that thread seems to have been bumped to the second page, so we will go with yours.

Didn't get to it soon enough.
The Epic Pumpkin was really interesting. I've never had DC Brau before, but I'm familiar with Epic. I love both porters and pumpkin ales, so I thought it would be a combo that I'd potentially like. I found that the smoky depth of the porter tended to drown out a lot of the pumpkin, though I'd pick up pumpkin in the nose when I went to sip and then in the aftertaste. I'm glad I bought it and tried it, but I'm not really in love with it.
